Heyo! I decided it's about time for me to ramble on about some Pokemon stuff. So, here it goes.
First of all, I just watched the funniest battle I've ever seen. The team looked terrible weak compared to the opposing one, with a Ninjask, Shuckle, Siglyph, Spiritomb, Liepard, and Kangaskan. The first turn was simple. Ninjask used protect, and Shuckle used Apressure to raise its stats. Ninjask's ability Speed Bost raised it's speed every turn after ward, and soon, it Baton Passed its stats to the Kangaskan. Then, after Shuckle fainted, he sent out Liepard who used Roleplay to copy the stats of Kangaskan. The Liepard was just to get some extra damage off, but the kangaskan wreaked their whole team until only one Pokemon was standing on that team. It was Steelix. Kangaskan fainted with one last Iron Head, and Ninjask, with his x2 speed bost, Baton Passed it to Siglyph. Then Spiritomb copied the status while the Substituted Siglyph was raising its stats up. Spiritomb used Scald to get some extra damage off, and the next turn, the other team just game up and used Explosion, giving the much deserved victory to that strange team.
Okay, now enough about that. Have you ever heard about IVs and EVs? No? I thought not. IVs aren't very important most of the time, so lets just focus on EVs.
EVs are hidded values called "Effort Values". Generation VI, or X and Y, have made it much easier to train a Pokemon in EVs. In older games, if you wanted to EV train a Pokemon, you had to find a Pokemon who has the EVs for the stat your training, and beat them over and over again, which was tedious and time consuming. X and Y game now have Super Training, but I'm way to lazy to explain everything, so here is a video! Here Is The Video More to come in this little ramble of mine c:
